My brother-in-law is getting married this Saturday, so off we go into the wild blue yonder this morning. Land in Louisville on Friday, wedding on Saturday night, back to Denver on Sunday afternoon.
I’m still amazed at how the ability to travel 1100 miles can take place in about three hours. And even going to Trinidad, which I will be doing in January: a 3300-mile flight from Houston to Port of Spain in 4 1/2 hours. It’s no secret I love to fly.
So prayers are appreciated. And remember, if you think getting from Point A to Point B by flying is fast, check this out:
Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and werejoice in hope of the glory of God (Romans 5:1-2).
Through Christ’s atoning work on the cross and subsequent tomb-busting, we have access to the throne of God who sits over the entire universe. So as much as air travel amazes me…
… the latter amazes me even more!
